I love maternity sessions:) And I love photographing outside, this sure was a cool location!
Laura is a mother of three year old twins and another baby on the way! We wanted a location that was outside, natural and beautiful! This area in Sherwood Park was perfect, and just down the street from Laura’s house. It was hot this day so we shot early in the morning, which also gave us such pretty light!
There is just something about a pregnant lady that puts a smile on my face. I am so excited for Laura to be adding to her beautiful family! Congratulations on baby number three:)
I often hear women say that they wish they would have gotten maternity pictures, but they just didn’t feel beautiful. Laura is a perfect example of a radiant mom to be, and her belly is…..well…. it’s awesome! She may have been uncomfortable with her baby mashing against her insides, but you can’t tell from these pictures:)
What a fun day!
On June 6 I was invited to take part in the Big Wheels Deliver Meals Show and shine fundraiser. I have never done anything like this before and took The lovely Jane up on her offer:)
Well I am so glad I did! Between the great people I met and beautiful models I worked with, it made for a great event to be apart of. Taking place at the Save on Foods parking lot at 109st and Jasper ave, there was free lunch, coffee and of course tons of eye candy!! There was a great collection of Hot Rods, new muscle cars, retro busses and trucks. Something for everyone!
This event really brought the neighbourhood and city together. From Edmonton Police and Fire, to city councillors, Shine FM, and of course all the volunteers that really bring these events together! It was a great turn out and the weather was amazing:)
The wonderful Jane Voloboeva with Meals on Wheels, put this shin dig all together and it was amazing! From the organizing of models, to the volunteers, vehicles on display, and working with Save on foods is a feat! I will say it again….amazing!
It’s getting to be graduation time here in Edmonton, and the girls are shopping for gowns!! It brings back so many memories of my mom making my dress, getting my hair done, and having fun with my friends!
This past weekend I had the pleasure of meeting Ashley! She is super chill and loves to be in front of the camera, we had some fun!!
This session was in Downtown Edmonton. We found some pretty great brick walls, doorways and even garbage cans!! I love shooting on location, especially in areas with this much character! Downtown Edmonton has so much to offer, from tall buildings creating so much open shade, to little parks tucked away off the street!
Graduation portraits make me feel young again haha! Thanks so much Ashley for a great shoot:)
Corporate head shots are becoming more and more popular in Edmonton.
I like to photograph them simple and chic! Giving them a great feel, and style that lasts so you can use them on your website, social media sites, business cards and promotional materials.
Latex? Yes Please!! This was a fun last minute shoot from today, I love how things just come together like this:)
Erzsebett is a local Edmonton model, and today it was all about the latex! This purple number was designed by Visha Loo. Makeup done by Erzsebett herself:)
Here is a little Peek at my shoot with Lady M! I am loving red hair lately, it is so much fun!!
It feels like a long time coming! I am so very excited to be shooting outside, with all the green trees and colourful flowers! There is nothing like taking my clients outdoors to do portraits, the warm sun makes for amazing light.
This shot was taken in a field on the east side of Edmonton, in an abandoned business lot. Just goes to show you can find beauty anywhere. This was a great session from last summer!
