Joy is having a BABY GIRL!!

I love doing maternity portraits, there is just something special about being pregnant, and I get to capture it:) Which is pretty awesome!

(fabulously talented, and located at Visions Salon and Spa in Saskatoon) She didn’t have a maternity photographer yet so we got together and did this session right down by the river. I love shooting by the river in Saskatoon, you can get super close without fearing of falling in haha!

This session was at Blackmud creek, in south Edmonton. The leaves were beautiful and the sun was shining, a perfect day for outdoor maternity portraits:) Fall leaves turn so fast and before you know it they are gone! We got this session in just in time, such a beautiful day!

This is Nicole and Kyle’s first baby, and they are having a little baby boy:) I am se excited for these two! Nicole has the best baby bump and truly is beaming!:)

Nicole’s mom bought her these little booties when she found out she was pregnant. I just had to take a picture of them:)

This outdoor session was in Saskatoon,  at the Delta Bessborough.  Right on the river, wow what a location! Great pick Jackie!

This session was filled with laughs, Jackie is such a riot to be around:) She is married to my cousin and they are having there first baby! I am so excited for these two!!

Jackie is a very talented stylist and manager at Visions Salon & Spa, one of Saskatoons most talked about salons. I don’t get to see Jackie very often, and this is why Facebook can be so wonderful! I get to see all the fun and wonderful things going on with family, especially when you only see them once maybe twice a year. I can’t wait to see pictures of this little one, no doubt she will be gorgeous just like her mother:)

This session reinforced why I love photography so much and photographing women. Jackie was beaming with happiness, and that made me smile all day! I am so grateful that she let me in on this special time in her life, and photograph her and her amazing baby bump! Jackie you look amazing, congratulations!

I love maternity sessions:) And I love photographing outside, this sure was a cool location!

Laura is a mother of three year old twins and another baby on the way! We wanted a location that was outside, natural and beautiful! This area in Sherwood Park was perfect, and just down the street from Laura’s house. It was hot this day so we shot early in the morning, which also gave us such pretty light!

There is just something about a pregnant lady that puts a smile on my face. I am so excited for Laura to be adding to her beautiful family! Congratulations on baby number three:)

I often hear women say that they wish they would have gotten maternity pictures, but they just didn’t feel beautiful. Laura is a perfect example of a radiant mom to be, and her belly is…..well…. it’s awesome! She may have been uncomfortable with her baby mashing against her insides, but you can’t tell from these pictures:)
